I wanted to thank everyone who has donated and in advance for ALL donations received. The money will help me care for Chloe until she's received a kidney and healed from the transplant. It will not only go for gas, food, bills etc., but whatever Chloe's needs are during this time. I'm hoping to set aside money for any future medical bills she will have due to her chronic kidney disease and to help her with any complications or future transplants and medical bills she may have. I just want to reassure everyone that Chloe will benefit from every single dollar raised. Money is being placed in an account for Chloe and will be managed by me. Thank you!! ❤❤❤❤ Please keep Chloe in your prayers that she will have a donor soon!!
Many Blessings to everyone!

(Chloe's mom)
Chloe is now active on the deceased donor list with UNOS. She has chronic kidney disease and is in end stage renal failure. She was a healthy child until last May when she went into complete kidney failure. I almost lost her. Within 2 months of diagnosis she started dialysis at Children's Hospital in Aurora and has been doing it 5 hours a day, 3 - 4 days a week for 6 months now. I'm not working because of thyroid cancer (that's on hold until Chloe is transplanted) and also so that I can go with her every time. I just can't send her alone like some parents can. This money will help with everything leading up to transplant, during transplant, and preparing for next transplant. Chloe spent Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's at the hospital and has now just celebrated her 16th Birthday there last week.
We still don't know why Chloe has kidney failure or what caused the scarring in her kidneys. They think it might be due to ibuprofen or antibiotics, but don't know for sure. Chloe has seen just about every dr at children's and has been tested for just about everything to rule out most causes. Still no answers. My concern is what happens when she gets a kidney? How can we prevent any further damage? I've been assured that they'll be keeping a very close eye on Chloe to make sure that it doesn't happen but it's a scary reality. It's been a rough adjustment going from happy, healthy kids to life threatening. I can't imagine how Chloe feels. I just try to be there for her, holding her hand, every single step of the way. No matter what life throws at her- we'll get through it together. Always.
I just want my baby healthy. I don't pretend that what we're going through is tougher than what anyone else is having to cope with these days. At the end of the day I know how blessed I am and I'm grateful that I still have her here with me. I know it's tough times for all. But if you can donate, it is very much appreciated, and if you're not able, it's ok- just please keep my family in your prayers and pass this along to get my baby a kidney. Please and thank you. ❤❤❤❤
I will do a complete story soon. Just trying to get this up and running asap to get Chloe on her way to transplant sooner. We are still looking for a living donor. If anyone is interested they can contact uchealthlivingdonor.org and let them know they're wanting to donate to Chloe. Her blood type is A÷. Thank you Everyone!! Money is of course awesome and helpful, but prayers are definitely what's needed the most.
It's in God's hands.❤
