Our friend Jake Szczepaniak was recently hit by a car while riding a Lime scooter, which has left him with a fractured jaw. He’s since had to have his jaw wired shut, which has left him unable to talk. While a wired jaw would be hard on anyone, we all know it’s specifically difficult for our beloved raconteur pal.

 

As a result of the accident, Jake’s facing medical bills for his ER visit, jaw surgery, and physical therapy, and it’s unclear how much insurance will cover. He also won’t be able to work in the meantime, so he needs help covering monthly expenses ‘til then.
