Duke's emergency medical expenses

As most of you may know, Jax and her sweet babe Duke have been in each other's lives and inseparable for the past four years. This past Saturday Duke began throwing up but he seemed in good spirits, by Sunday afternoon she could tell he wasn't doing okay at all. 
She brought him in to the emergency vet and after bloodwork, Xrays, and several hours of waiting, Jax was told Duke would need immediate surgery. 

Jax is a full time student and works part time and was beyond surprised when she was quoted between 5,500 and 7,500.

Anyone who has a fur baby knows we would all do whatever it takes to make sure our babies are ok. Jax did the same.

During surgery it was determined that sweet Duke has swallowed a squeaker  from one of his toys that was blocking his intestines but he's recovering well and we are hoping he is able to come home in the next couple of days.

With Duke's emergency, we are hoping to come together and help with expected medical  expense.
