Funeral services

As many of you know our mom had a long battle of 66 days in the hospital where many did not give her a chance. However, we knew that God is the one that has the last say. My mother's last two months were full of many challenges. From being on a ventilator for two weeks and in quarantine. To come back out for a few days then back on a ventilator again for another week. As this process kept on she was never alone. Me (Manny) coming up from California weekly to then go back and my Brother (Luis) with his travels from Puerto Rico to Washington. Nothing was going to stop us. Her grandchildren and a few other family members that spend countless hours doing all they could to provide comfort are something that she will forever remember. The unconditional love and support were amazing, but thanks to the grace of God and the fight in her she was able to give us many special moments. Unfortunately, On May 15th at 8:39 PM (as I (Manny) along with my daughter (Jaiden) were making our way back up to Washington) I get a call from my son (Jovanie). Telling me the Lord brought her home. We, unfortunately, didn’t make it on time. But my brother (Luis), My son, and my niece (Ashley) were able to be there. As you can only imagine it has been very hard for all of us. Her desire has always been to take care of others. We want to celebrate her life and allow the many she has shared her love with them while she was here. To have an opportunity to say goodbye. She is in a better place and the heavens are rejoicing.
