Gulf War I Veteran Needing Assistance
Donation protected
I am a veteran of the First Gulf War, I did not see combat but got caught up in the environmental exposure. I started having physical problems shortly after getting home like many others with Gulf War Syndrome but I continued working for 20 years. Eventually I had to quit, mostly because of pain but also memory problems and constant fatigue. In 2018 I had breast cancer that was found so early all I needed was a bilateral mastectomy, no chemo or radiation.
In 2016 I finally found a place to park my little trailer. It's in 29 Palms, CA, the Mojave Desert. The scenery is fantastic but my travel trailer is in really bad shape. The roof leaks & the water pump doesn't work. I don't trust the electrical because of obvious visible issues. Thankfully the refrigerator & stove work.
My only income is from my 70% service connected compensation from the VA. I have a 400w off grid solar system meaning no electric bill. I get by, but I really need a travel trailer in better condition to live in.
If you live in the High Desert North of Palm Springs & have a trailer in condition good enough to live in & want to donate it that would be phenomenally great.
If you've read this far, I appreciate that tremendously.
Thank you,
Jennifer
