6th Annual Truly Grateful Thanksgiving Dinner

Every year the residents of Antiquity show their appreciation for our first responders by donating to a Thanksgiving meal our family organizes for the two Cornelius firehouses, EMS and Police Departments.

Typically, on Thanksgiving, individuals from households without children or those who aren’t married tend to volunteer more than single family households. With your support, it has provided us an opportunity to serve the people that serve us. It is moments like this that bring a community together.

This year they welcomed six new, much needed, full-time firefighters (including one female) to ensure that all incidents are handled in a timely manner. This has allowed all of our citizens to receive the quickest, most efficient service.

Your support has allowed us the unique privilege of serving those who selflessly serve both Lake Norman and our town, and for that, we are truly grateful.
