Help send our D14 cheerleaders to Nationals

Our HCYS D14 Danbury Hatters Cheerleading team is heading to nationals!! These girls have worked very hard all season to get here and over came several challenges this season. Due to Covid, restrictions and protocols these girls spent most of their season outside on muddy grass fields and no cheer mats to learn, practice and perfect a routine in a matter of weeks. In October they headed to the CYSC Local Competition and took home first place in their division. A couple weeks later they headed to the CT State Competition and once again took home first place in their division, scoring their highest score ever and being named the D14 State Champions. This past weekend they headed to the New England Regional Competition competed against 8 other teams. They took home 3rd place, just .2 points away from second place and 1.3 points away from the first place team. These girls are so proud to not only represent HCYS but also the City of Danbury and ready to head to Florida to represent Danbury and the State of CT. All funds raised will be put towards girls air travel and hotel stay. Any help is greatly appreciated and means so much to these girls.
