Help mom stay home

My mom is home recovering from her surgery to remove cancerous tumors on her liver. The Drs. we're successful in removing everything, so no further treatment is necessary. However, recovery took longer as she developed some internal infections. She is underweight and weak.

My sister, Mimosa, was here for several weeks taking care of my mom. And I am currently here for 2 more weeks. Mimosa had to go back to Arizona as school is starting for her kids. 

In order for my mom to stay at home, we need to put in hand rails in her yard and on her steps. We are also looking into home health aide to take her to and fromfrom Dr appointments and check in on her.

On top of all that, her septic tank backed up into her bathroom and into part of her bedroom. It looks as though my Dad, buried the septic, put our concrete driveway and steps over it and then planted a huge ficus over it as well........oh dad. They are currently digging everything up, but we don't exactly know what the damage will be.

Any contribution would be greatly appreciated. But, PLEASE, do not mention this to my mom!!! She is an extremely proud woman and doesn't want to ask for help.
