Dick’s road to recovery

Hello everyone, I’m dave a close friend of Dick, Tina and Luca.

I don’t know if you’re aware but a good friend of ours (Dick Hopkins) was at knockhill back on the 18th of June with his wife, Tina and his son Luca who currently races in the British Talent Cup. Dick was airlifted to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary where it was found that he had a grade 5 subarachnoid hemorrhage. He was in critical care for 3 weeks then moved to level 1 intensive care where he still remains.

Against all the odds he’s still here and proving the medical staff wrong even after 3 major operations, he still continues to make slow progress. Tina has been in Edinburgh the whole 6 weeks and Luca has been there for the majority of time but with occasional home visits back to Yorkshire.

Dick has sustained life changing injuries,

we’re hoping with this go fund me we can take some pressure of Tina and Luca as they begin rehabilitation with Dick.
