ACL Surgery for Our Golden Girl
Donation protected

Our little girl, Sarah (on the left), is now 6! She's done really well over the past 5 1/2 years with her right hip that was dislocated at 6 months. She has been developing arthritis in that leg for the past couple of years, and is on medication for pain and inflammation. We try to keep her active and monitor her regularly for that old injury. She is such an irrepressible spirit...and is the happiest golden girl in the world! She got a pre-Christmas wish for snow...and had so much fun playing in it with her friends that she tore her left ACL. Ironically, her ACL injury has helped her to rehab her damaged hip recently. Her vet, the amazing Dr. J King, says that her prognosis is excellent if she has the surgery at the Las Vegas Veterinary Specialty Center. See more about them here. http://lvvsc.com/ We will be travelling down to Las Vegas next week for her surgery.
She has 5 or 6 years of joy left, and we want those to be as happy, pain-free QUALITY years as possible. She has more travels, swims, camping, and hikes ahead of her! She loves visits with her human family, who all adore her and her 'sister' Sadie(on the right). It's not Sarah's fault that her dad's been in college for the past few years, or that her mom's a schoolteacher...so we're hoping that you'll pitch in to help this beautiful girl get her ACL repaired. We are dedicated to her therapy and recovery!
