Help Save Blu

8/21 update on our boy BLU:

Blu has been home for one week. With Blu being home we have been able to see the slow, yet steady progress he is making. His kidney and liver functions continue to improve, alongside his white blood cell count due to the pneumonia. He has been under the care of our local veterinarians DAILY. He is continuing treatment, IV therapy, and tube fed every two hours. The best part is he started solids today and tolerated it! We are hopeful that by the end of the week they will be able to remove the NG tube. We are moving in the right direction and are so thankful our Bluey is still here with us today… such a blessing ! The boys have been so very helpful and are able to truly appreciate BLU’s healing process with him being home. He is the strongest pup I know and has a whole lot of fight in him. We appreciate all of your love, support and generosity as Blu continues to heal TEAM BLU ROCKS!!

Please help Brittany, Mike and their boys save their beloved boy Blu. Blu is the sweetest 8 month old pup who needs your help! He went in for what was thought to be dehydration from vomiting, but is now at Penn Vet in Pennsylvania in ICU being treated for Acute Kidney Failure. Being a pup, he got into something he wasn’t supposed to and vets are unsure of exactly what. A mushroom or the trash (where grapes were) are possible options. He has been battling for his life since last Friday (7/28/23) and continues to make progress daily. Unfortunately, today Brittany and Mike were given the quote for the upcoming week and it is a huge financial burden. They have paid their way so far using savings and credit cards. ICU is $1,000 a day and dialysis treatments are anywhere from $5-6,000. Please think about donating to this pup fighting for his life so he can continue to get the care he deserves and back to his two boys who miss him dearly!
