Support Maria's Family in Their Time of Grief

Hello everyone, my name is Lyn...
On July 1, 2024, my mother-in-law Maria suffered a complete right-sided stroke due to metastatic ovarian cancer, that affected her left side completely. She was unable to move her left arm and left leg, which required her to stay in the hospital and complete extensive rehab treatment for 30 days. July 31, 2024, she was finally discharged and was able to return home, unfortunately, 6 hours after her discharge she suffered another stroke. On August 2, 2024, she was called home to Heaven at the young age of 55, as her family surrounded her, nurses who cared for her, and the physical therapists who held her hand as she learned to walk again. She was survived by her two sons, Ralph and Mark.
My mother-in-law was a single mother who migrated to America from the Philippines with a dream of a better future for her boys. She took pride in being a mother and fought every obstacle she might have faced. She was a fighter, the epitome of a strong and independent woman who can simultaneously break you down just to build you up because she believed everyone had the potential to reach their dreams, just as she did for her boys.
The untimely passing of my mother-in-law has brought our family into disarray. As we continue to process this grief, it is unavoidable to think of the financial burden of the funeral service. To ease this financial burden off my husband, my uncle-in-law, and I, we are asking for $20,000 to help cover funeral expenses and medical bills. This will also allow us to focus on our grief and heal as we move through this difficult time in our lives. Thank you for taking the time to read our story, any amount will help.
With sincerest gratitude and love,
