Prayers for Baby Giselle

On November 16th pregnant Courtney Almazan was complaining of severe headaches, swelling, nausea and an aching pain in her shoulder. Early morning of November 17th Mario Flores, Courtney's husband rushed her to Mary Birch Hospital and was diagnosed with Preeclampsia Syndrome. Courtney had to have an emergency C-section because her liver and kidney were failing.

Giselle Anahi Flores was born at a very early 22 weeks On November 17th, 2019. She weighed 1 pound at birth.

After Giselle was born Courtney was diagnosed with H.E.L.L.P. Syndrome which is a very rare disease that only affects about .02% of women . It causes very high blood pressure in the mother and also effects her liver. 

Giselle is now in the NICU at Mary Birch Hospital. Courtney and Mario are only able to see and touch her through an isolate.

She has a long journey ahead of her but Courtney and Mario are constantly by her side. Watching their baby fight for her life.

There will be lengthy stays at the hospital and Courtney will be off work with only disability income for a while. While Mario works to try and support his family on a single income.

There are many people that have asked what they can do to help. Baby Giselle will need donations to help for her extended hospital stay. Any donation to help ease the financial stress will help significantly.
