Help Angi and Nigel after the Eaton Fire

My name is Evan Chambers and I was born and raised in Altadena.

Recently my entire neighborhood burned in the Eaton Fire, including my home. Nobody in our neighborhood received ANY help from first responders and we were forced to save eachother under horrific conditions.

My neighbor across the street Angi Franklin and her son Nigel lost their home and all of their possessions to the Eaton Fire. The place they both grew up in was completely destroyed. Fortunately they lived.

Nigel, who is 15 and is on the Autism Spectrum, lost all of his essential sensory tools, his tablet, and his special toys—items that brought him comfort and helped him feel secure. Along with these, they lost their clothes, personal keepsakes, and everything they owned.

I ride bikes in the park with Nigel and love his family. Angi is deeply committed to helping those in need, and she has a special desire to support the seniors in her community who were also affected by the fire.

Angi would also never ask for help, which is why as a community we are lifting each-other up.
