Help a deaf young man from Gaza to regain my home

On 24/oct/2023 , the Israeli occupation destroyed our house and erased all our memories.

I am Nabil, a deaf young man from northern Gaza, for a family of 8 members, 2 of whom are deaf.

I dream of traveling and continuing to develop my computer design skills, communicating with people, improving my hearing abilities, and gaining experiences that benefit the deaf group in Gaza, which suffers from a lack of horizons, opportunities, and possibilities for integration, work, education, and treatment.

At the height of the war, the house fell on the batteries of my headphones, and it was not possible to buy them, as people were displaced.

I cannot describe the pain of more than two weeks without hearing the sounds around me, so my dream that day was not to stop the bombing, but to hear it, interact with it, and understand it like others..

My dream is to live in peace and to We have opportunities and security like everyone else.

اسمي نبيل الشكري ... أنا أصم ، شمال غزة ، عمري 18 عامًا ... في 24 / أكتوبر / 2023 ، دمر الاحتلال الإسرائيلي منزلنا ومسح كل ذكرياتنا. أنا نبيل، شاب أصم من غزة، لأسرة مكونة من 8 أفراد، 2 منهم أصم. أحلم بالسفر والاستمرار في تطوير مهاراتي في تصميم الكمبيوتر والتواصل مع الناس وتحسين قدراتي السمعية واكتساب الخبرات التي تعود بالفائدة على مجموعة الصم في غزة التي تعاني من نقص الآفاق والفرص وإمكانيات التكامل والعمل والتعليم والعلاج. في ذروة الحرب ، سقط المنزل على بطاريات سماعاتي ، ولم يكن من الممكن شرائها ، حيث نزح الناس. لا أستطيع أن أصف ألم أكثر من أسبوعين دون أن أسمع الأصوات من حولي، لذا لم يكن حلمي في ذلك اليوم أن أتوقف عن القصف، بل أسمعه، وأتفاعل معه، وأفهمه مثل الآخرين.
