Johnson's - Fund for House Fire

I’m raising money for my amazing parents, Randy and Kris Johnson, who recently lost their home to a fire. It happened a few days after Christmas toward the end of the year in 2015. The cause was an electrical malfunction which started a fire in our basement. We can’t describe how thankful we are that my parents were awake and were able to get out in seconds to save themselves along with our dog. Our house is still standing today, but the damages from the fire and smoke are devastating. They have lost all of their possessions. The next phase of getting their lives back in order has not only been a financial struggle, but an emotionally draining time in their life. At this point today, we aren’t sure where their home and life will end up after the damages and claims are settled.

I’m hoping to help raise some additional money to help my parents through this difficult time in covering  the expenses they can't afford. This money would be used toward not only replacing the clothes and furniture they lost, but helping them afford consultants, lawyers and a trusting insurance and restoration team to get them back to the home they once had - and the life they’ve worked so hard for since my brothers and I were born.
