- Cornelius Fontenot had a promising future. He played basketball, football &’ ran track. He loved his family , church family & friends. Cornelius was truly the life of the party but all that came to an end on July 25 , 2023 when a tragic car accident claimed the life of my son Cornelius Fontenot, at the very young age of 17. I am still in shock but I know some how , some way I must carry on. I must continue to press knowing that the day is coming to bury my child which I never thought the day would come so soon. No mother is ever really prepared to bury their child. But it is now a task I must complete. Unfortunately he had no life insurance due to the fact I had to end my employment because of numerous lupus flare ups. Funeral services have been tentatively set for August 12 , 2023 at 1 pm. All fees for Cornelius final expenses is approximately $10,000 that has to be paid by August 4th. I am asking all my family members and friends to come together and help me lay my son to rest. Any donation is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for all your time, consideration, your love for me and my children .
