Make it rain for Fran's brain drain

Francesca Capozzi is one of the most astonishingly generous people you will ever meet.
From growing up homeless in Honduras, she has fought and strived to get to where she is today, moving to the United States and putting herself through college. Now, she works every day to help people – putting together yearly drives for school supplies for underprivileged kids, working to make technology more accessible to those with vision or hearing needs, and always helping others in ways big and small.
Fran also has a pseudo brain tumor that is filled to the brim with CSF (spinal fluid) and needs immediate brain resection surgery*.
Unfortunately, this is a very time-sensitive surgery and the hospitals that don’t have a waitlist in the area are not covered by her insurance. That is why she needs OUR help to get the surgery. Without insurance and with her prior medical debt, it is impossible for her to pay by herself.
To get the surgery, she will need a down payment. Otherwise, the doctor and hospital will not perform the surgery and if left untreated, it will kill her – possibly sooner than any of us would like to admit.
Every single dollar you contribute will be directly responsible for saving the life of a wonderful, kind, giving human being who would be the first to promote this same exact campaign for you.
This funding will go directly to her needed surgery, which entails putting a shunt in her brain and resecting a portion of brain tissue. This plus a drain valve will manually remove the spinal fluid, fixing the damage and providing a solution for going forward.
She's given so much to the world, and she has so much more to give - this is an opportunity for us to give back and make a direct, positive impact on the world.
Please DONATE whatever you can, and SHARE this as broadly and widely as possible. Thank you.
*For more clarity on what this procedure entails exactly: it is a VP shunt in which they resect a portion of brain tissue, fit a metal coil, and then insert a drain valve that reaches into her abdomen to manually remove the spinal fluid from her brain tumor. It will also place a cardiac stent in a different space in her head where there's narrowing in her transverse sinuses. As mentioned above, this is to fix the immediate damage and safeguard for the long-term
