2021 Care Package for the Ford Family
Donation protected
In early 2019 Pastor Tom had to stop working and go on long-term disability as he waited patiently for an organ transplant. Though there were many ups and downs in 2019, and progress climbing closer to the top of the list, also recently complications involving sores and blood blisters developed on his feet.
Our aim is to raise funds to help reduce the financial pressures during this year (2020) for Pastor Tom, his wife Sandy, and their 3 children. With Pastor Tom focusing on rest, healing and recovery, Sandy has had to support the family and also assist her husband in seeing various specialists and doing visits to different hospitals, sometimes having to drive across the GTA to see different people on the same day.
Please support Tom and his family with prayer and giving. Give a small amount or give a large amount, but please pray and give. This is how we show love to our family in Christ Jesus.
It is by grace we have been saved, so may we be cheerful givers, knowing that we are commanded to love our brothers and sisters because God first loved us (1 John 4:19). As our Lord Jesus Christ gave his life for the forgiveness of sins, rescuing unworthy sinners, may we love one another and give generously.
In Acts 4, we see the body of believers selling their possessions to take care of each other, that there would be "no needy persons among them." May our hearts be so full of love and generosity, for the joy we have in our Saviour, that this brother and his family would have no financial need.
For the glory of God.
Amen.

Acts 4:32-35
All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all that there were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need.
