Help Colleen Keane's Journey Fighting Lung Cancer

To our friends and family,
Today, I am reaching out to you regarding my sister Colleen, an inspiring single mother of three, a magic gardener, an artist, nature lover and a dedicated professional in senior living.
Recently, her life has been upended by a diagnosis of stage 4 lung cancer, a battle she faces with immense courage, grace and determination.
Despite never having been a tobacco smoker, she confronts this illness which has also spread to other areas of her body, causing significant pain and at times affecting her mobility. Through this all, her spirit remains unbroken, evident in the joy she finds in her garden, the music she adores, and, outings with her children to places like the local farmers market, river trails and parks.
Fall has always been her favorite season when our entire family comes together to share in the delight of Halloween, a holiday we affectionately call 'Colloween.' It's a season filled with pumpkin picking, warmth, joy, and family traditions that mean the world to her.
As she endures multiple rounds of targeted therapy as well as chemotherapy, her resilience shines through. However, maintaining her role as a full-time professional in a demanding job has become increasingly complex with her diagnosis. The road ahead is long and uncertain as she bravely continues to fight this terrible disease.
Here is where she needs our help. Her ability to work full-time in a pressure-packed role is not sustainable with her diagnosis. Your contribution will offer crucial stability throughout her treatment, aid in adapting to her evolving circumstances, and, above all, enable her to cherish more quality moments with her children, alleviating some of the burden of financial worries.
We are reaching out to ask for your support in whatever way you can. Every contribution, no matter the size, will significantly impact her life and the lives of her beloved children. Sharing her story with others can also be a tremendous help if you cannot donate.
This is more than just a request for financial aid; it appeals to the strength and compassion of a community coming together to support a woman who exemplifies resilience and love.
Thank you for taking the time to read about her journey and for considering your support. Your kindness and generosity mean more than words can express.
With heartfelt thanks,
Bridget
