A BROTHER In Need!

Raising children as a single parent is a major struggle, as many of us know. It requires extreme sacrifice and perseverance. As a single parent myself, I know, there are no sick days. There is no giving up. You work the extra hours to make the money needed to give your kids the life they deserve. This is my friend Kalen . There is a very small group of people that I would call a friend, Kalen is at the top of my list because I respect him for the sacrifices he has made for his children. This kid has been impressing me since the day I met him, which is hard to do! The level of devotion and “ can do “ spirit Is nothing less than inspiring. We just found out, after several incidences, that he has something called Cavernoma. In a nutshell, a cluster of veins in the cortex of his brain is causing seizures, black outs, and stroke like symptoms. Needless to say, the doctors have taken his driving privileges away, which means he cannot work. Kalen is one of the best all around Plumber’s I’ve ever known. His numbers were nothing short of impressive, this is all do to the fact that he love’s what he does! It showed in his work and the complete satisfaction of his customers. Unfortunately there is no insurance coverage for this condition at this time.He just spent over a week in the hospital where they ran every test known to man to get to their diagnosis. He has rent, food, bills, etc. etc. , and no way to earn an income. On top of that, we aren’t sure how long this will go on. I’m asking for your help, he never would.
