KINDSIGHT 2: The Yes Of Why

In early 2002, in the aftermath of 9/11, I began using images with accompanying texts to illuminate random encounters and moments in celebrating the richness of everyday life, which I realized is the antidote to and the antithesis of the specter of terror enshrouding our world. As I emailed and shared these pieces around, they received a powerfully positive response and transcended gender, pigment, religion, orientation and other so called divisions, getting at what exists beneath and beyond all this, common to us all. The first collection of pieces came out in the book KINDSIGHT®️in late 2004, to great acclaim and welcome far beyond the book’s limited print run. It had been my intention to publish KINDSIGHT 2 by 2009, however I became afflicted with a rare, untreatable, crippling genetic disease, APBD (see www.apbdrf.org) that ended my career in Hollywood and constrained me to put the publication of the sequel on hold and focus on survival and supporting my family, even though I continued creating pieces, connecting with life’s richness, seeing the extraordinary within the ordinary and that everybody is a star, everybody has a story. Now, a decade on, after personal and family devastation, i am finally focusing on putting together, publishing and promoting KINDSIGHT 2, and soon following it, KINDSIGHT 3. I can promise you that these will be amazing, transformative books that honor humanity and serve as valuable treasures that will give value to present and future generations.
