Sophies Fund

Sophie was a lovely female Karelian Bear Dog from the Kenai Peninsula of Alaska who was born blind. She spent much of her life in and out of homes and shelters as few are equipped to deal with KBD much less a blind one. The founder used this platform to raise funds for her relocation to her forever home in New Mexico and for medical costs for her eyes. The generosity shown by the KBD community was overwhelming. This fund is her legacy and is named in her honor, I am continuing it to help other KBD's who have medical expenses from illness or accident and or transport cost for rehoming. Since its inception Sophies Fund has helped dozens of KBDs all over North America.
