Help Mrs Albers in her time of need

My Mom, Mrs. Chris Albers, has always been everyone’s favorite math teacher. She explains math and teaches in a way that helps her students not only understand math but actually like going to math class.
Now she needs your help because she had a bad accident, which requires 4 surgeries.
In 2011, my Mom was diagnosed with a rare cancer. After three surgeries and one round of radiation, we thought she was cancer free. But in 2013 it came back with a vengeance and we almost lost her. After two more surgeries and a longer round of radiation, she has now been a cancer survivor for two years!
Anyone that’s ever had my Mom as a teacher knows she likes to fish and hang out by the water. Her last round of radiation left her really sensitive to the cold St. Louis winters. Her dreams came through this spring when she was offered a position to teach math at Charlotte High School in Punta Gorda, FL. Finally my Dad and she were going to get to move to Florida and live there full time.
Everything was almost packed and my parents’ house was for sale. Four days before my Mom was planning to drive to Florida to get ready for the new school year, she was trimming flowers in the back yard, lost her balance, and fell off the retaining wall. She dislocated her left knee and left elbow and also sustained multiple fractures in both. She endured a seven hour surgery to put her elbow back together and she’s waiting for the swelling to go down in her leg before they can operate on it. She won’t be able to work for 3 – 4 months.
Unfortunately, Mom is now unemployed. The Florida school is holding her job until she’s recovered and that’s awesome but it’s not paying the mounting bills.
My Dad is a retired UPS driver and gets a pension, but my Mom’s salary paid the bills. My oldest brother just started working full-time for UPS and he’s helping pay part of the phone bill. My other brother and I are still in college, working to pay our rent, food, and tuition.
My Dad is so stressed because he doesn’t know where they’ll get the money to just get by. The cancer bills used up all of their savings and now there’s going to be even more bills.
PLEASE DONATE MONEY to make up for my Mom’s lack of salary. She’s always helped so many students and now she needs YOUR HELP. Let Mom concentrate on getting better instead of feeling guilty for falling. THANK YOU
