Liz needs our help!

Our sweet friend Liz needs our help to buy a car to get her to work, as, through no fault of her own, she has been left high and dry. If you've ever had to manage with out a car, you know how impossible life can be in a town like St. Louis. Especially in the middle of a freakin pandemic.

Liz has had some rough and very expensive bad luck with cars over the last couple years but, ever the independent lady, was still able to scrape up some MORE cash to buy a very nice car for herself in late June this year. But the new car was stolen from right in front of her house today, and she does not have any more money left to replace it this time. Talk about a bummer!

I've known Liz since high school and as anyone else who knows her can agree, she's one of the most caring people you'll ever meet. She's always given her heart to her friends, her community and the environment through her tiresless activism and acts of love. I remember recently, for example, her coming over to help me move into my new house, then heping me draw a beautiful chalk mural on the wall. Im confident every single one of her friends can also recall countless times she's been there for us in ways big and small. She isnt the type to ever ask for anything in return, but here's our chance to give back to this wonderful person in her time of need. 

As you can imagine, this is ordeal is emotionally and financially draining for Liz and she just needs a hand to get through this pickle, as she has no money left after just buying the car that was stolen. I'm asking for $5000 to get her something good and reliable, but if we can even raise just $2000 that will still help trememdously. AND, if her friends can pitch in and help her buy a new ride, she promises to get full coverage insurance this time! :)
