Court and Deb's Mission Trip to Haiti
Donation protected
Few opportunities in life provide the ability to both give back and be rewarded simultaneously. We have that opportunity, to give back in Haiti as a team: Nurse/PA, even better as mother/daughter.
Four years ago, after the devastating earthquake in Haiti, Courtney, as a part of our nation’s Disaster Medical Assistance Team, was one of the first American responders to touch down. They began the daunting task of setting up makeshift hospitals and giving urgent medical care to the injured men, women, and children. Her impact at that time was far-reaching, and yet the desire to do more remains.
On March 22, 2014, she’ll have her chance: this mother-daughter duo is teaming up and will head to the epicenter of the earthquake where they will continue the healing and restoration that was started in 2010. Armed with Deb’s Nursing and Courtney’s Physician Assistant degrees, they have joined forces with the Restore Haiti organization to promote sustainable community development in Jacmel, Haiti to individuals who need their medical help and human support.
But they need your help. The price of helping the Haitian people is $4,500 for both of these volunteers.
This includes:
1. All travel expenses and insurance
2. All medical and community mission materials with
Restore Haiti (501c3)
3. Fully funded water sanitation system enterprise which
creates pure drinking water for up to 5,000 people/day
and provides an income opportunity for Haitian
entrepreneurs with Untapped Shores International (501c3) ________________________________________________
Please help us make it to Haiti in March 2014! We’ll be flying just under 4,500 miles, which is about $1 for every mile traveled for our mission work. When it comes to saving and enriching lives, every penny counts. Thank you for your support!
