Hi Everyone, my name is Osasere Atoe and I am fundraising/ crowdfunding as a creative for a film I recently wrote.

About Me

I am a model and actress based in Ottawa, Ontario. I got into the industry about three and a half years ago, and ever since I have been fortunate enough to work alongside some of my favourite directors on a variety of films, documentaries, music, videos, and series that highlight BIPOC talent in and around Canada. As of this February, I am officially an award-winning actress, and I continue to look forward to working on my craft through the opportunities I obtain whilst strengthening the relationships I build in these industries.

My Motivation

I have decided that it’s about time to do something that completely scares me. Which would be bringing this film to life so that I can share it with y’all.

Through my work I have always wanted to create a space for others to showcase their talents and skill. Therefore, while putting my work out there can leave me vulnerable and open to criticism. It’s something I would not be able to grow without, so I welcome it wholeheartedly.

About the Film

Keep on Running is a short-film I wrote at the beginning of April this year. The plot of the story came to me whilst I was going to bed one night and I just started to write, not fully planning on developing it one day.

Fast-forward to a couple of weeks later, and I have found both my cast and crew whom I believe in so much and know that they will nurture this project just as much as I have, and give it their all to create the best film possible. With this film, I not only want to showcase my skill as a screenwriter, but showcase the talent of my cast and crew, which I hope will not only lead but open the doors to many opportunities down the road for them.

Logline A woman is falling deeply in love with a man that is trying to kill her. Can love beat death?

What the funds will go towards

Keep on Running will be shot this summer and to keep with this deadline I require your assistance. Locations, insurance/ permits, catering, transportation, wardrobe/ props, equipment, post-production, and film festivals are just some of the things that funding will cover.
