Melanie' s (my sister) funeral cost

My little sister passed away early this morning, Oct 23, 2015, just nine days before her 45th birthday. She left behind no money, no home, no possessions. She left three children just starting out on their own, and a 3 year old grandson.
Melanie served others as a personal home care giver when she could work. She battled fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, and needed dialysis three times per week and incurred many medical costs.
Dad is 75, has no retirement, and still needs to work to make ends meet. He is very concerned about the funeral and related costs.
Her children wish that any funds raised over and above the cost of the funeral to be allocated to Mom and Dad to help defray the many incurred financial burdens.
We certainly appreciate any monetary help and covet your prayers in this hard time.
