Dental Emergency Fund

Hello everyone,

First, I hope you and your families are all well during these times of unpredictability.

I want to humbly ask for help in raising money to pay for a dental emergency that has come up. The insurance I have does not cover what I need and the price is something I can’t afford onsuch short notices. 

I have a very bad infection on the upper left side and it has effected two of my teeth. (Picture above shows the infected area) I’ve had some work done on this same area 1 year and half ago and I thought it was fixed but it wasn’t. Root canal need to be done on two teeth in order to save them, remove decay on most, and deep, deep cleanings to save my teeth. The X-rays and photos were so hard to look at (the one above is just showing the front - the inside is far worst) and the overwhelming price of everything to be worked on was something I was not expecting to hear.

The total work that I need done for my entire mouth is estimate to $18,000 but I am only asking for $6000 to cover for the emergency dental work I need to get done. 

As a ballet dancer, I have lost thousands of dollars due to Covid-19 since March. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to get a job in the (midst of such a chaotic time) as a store manager that has helped pay my bills and keep things going on as well as pay debts that I have occurred over the years. However, the dental work that needs be done will put me behind my finance for years to come. 

These dental procedures have brought such stress to my life over the years. I have received a lot of bad work that has effected my oral health. I have done more than what I’ve been recommended to do: flossing, fluoride toothpaste, brushing twice a day, oil pulling, etc...
I was suppose to get braces when I was going young and I was denied by the New York State because I “didn’t need them”. This has brought such damage and I am dealing with it’s consequences.
I have found someone I can trust and this Dentist is doing everything to lower the cost. 

These are very difficult times and I dislike to be asking for help right now... I understand the situation we are all in and don’t not take this lightly.

Sharing this and spreading this around will be a great help and any amount you can give will mean very much to me.
