Hello my name is Jeremy Kleiber I live in St.augustine Fl where my families home was raided for my medication on March 5th 2019 And I was arrested for cultivation of Cannabis I now face upto 10 years in prison for not wanting to take Oxycontin and Morphine to the tune of at one point over 500 pills per month. We the people of Florida voted and approved a constitutional amendment in 2016 for true access to our medication wich we still do not have . Despite having won in 2 case that are being appealed for Smokeable and Homegrows even with a new Governor , and judges declaring we have a constitutional right to this form of medication now . Infact 2 days after they raided me for my medication the state Senate voted to allow smokeable and flower possession and it will be passed by the house next week and signed by the governor shortly after. Yet they decided to do this to a patient. All we have had access to is concentrates at 55 to 60 dollars a gram or moldy seed laced pods of cannabis most med patients would and do get sick from . I am a married disabled father of 4 wonderful children one if wich is a US Marine . I suffer from Myotonic Dystrophy DM2 , major Spinal Stenosis in 3 vertebrae and Schizophrenia. I have been a Medical Cannabis patient for many many years now. I came off of over 500 pills at one time a month to nothing but cannabis . I have been doing rides on my Trike to raise awareness of my disease and to raise money for research of cannabis based treatments and possible cures one day. I am now in for the fight of my life literally. Facing up to 10 years in prison even a month could be a death sentence to someone with my disease just from the stress alone. I'm here asking for any and everyones assistance to raise the needed funds to help me pay for my legal expenses wich amount to 10,000 dollars . If you or anyone you know would like to help please Do.
