Short Term Disability Loss of Income

My sister Jackie Crews has been teaching in Nassau County Florida for 30 years. A little over two years ago she won a battle against cancer. A year ago her husband became disabled due to a back surgery that went wrong. This past summer she started getting sick and losing weight. She has been hospitalized three times since November. We now know it is from radiation damage to her small intestines. She is having to be tube fed. We are trying to get her built up so she can have life saving surgery March 18. She has had to take a medical leave from work and since she has no sick days left has no income coming in. She needs to concentrate on her strength and not stressing on how to pay bills with no money! Please if anyone can help it would be greatly appriciated!! Thank You!!
