This past Sunday evening on February 16th, our friend Michael Wowak's home in Hampton Bays was destroyed by a fire.
Not only had Michael lost virtually all of his personal belongings, he also lost two of his pets, his cat and his beloved Border Collie named Missy.
Mike is a proud veteran of our armed forces as a former Marine, compassionate animal lover and a good friend who absolutely adored his pets, he would walk Missy everywhere, take her in his car for rides and even post the adventures of their evening walks on Facebook.
Missy was absolutely his best friend.
We'd like to ask friends and the local community to help graciously donate anything they can to help Mike get back on his feet and begin his recovery.
