7 children, all under 12, who lost their mom.

Tragically, these 7 children, all under the age of 12, lost their young mother, Verlena Jones Mickens (only 31 years old) to Acute Leukemia.  She had multiple health issues and was in and out of the hospital for months.  During mom's most recent bout with this illness, the children have been staying off and on with relatives and friends over the past month or so. They are in need of some type of  financial stability and a lot of togetherness after their heartbreaking loss; as well as finances to help the family members prepare funeral services for this young mother.  She had no insurance.  Please open your hearts and generously donate anything you can to help ease this family's financial burden!  Also, please keep this family in your prayers.  Your support is appreciated more than you'll ever know.
