Hope For Heroes

Hope for Heroes has been set up as a non profit organization by a Department of Veteran Affairs certified Service Disabled Combat Veteran retiring from the United States Army. Jacob Tucker served as an active duty Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division for six years in such combat zones as Al Anbar Iraq, Baghdad, Fallujah and Mosul. During this period he and his team completed over 356 successful combat missions. During the end of his tour he ran into many issues involved with exiting the Army, many of which had no answer and no where to turn to for help. Hope for Heroes is an organization that soldiers, disabled or not, can turn to for answers on the tough questions involving the Army, the VA or life in general. Many soldiers find themselves leaving the military with high hopes and dreams but no plan of action. In many cases, this could have been prevented with some direction from an organization that has relationships with programs and individuals that can help. Currently there is no such program that combines all possible scenarios under one roof. It is the purpose and goal of Hope for Heroes to offer this exact set of services under one roof completely free of charge to the individua,l and with the generosity of the public this plan can be put into action and be found a success in a very short period of time. There is a need to lend a helping hand to all our returning heroes, no matter the circumstances, and it is the will of this organization to extend that hand and provide a vehicle for others to follow.

Services to be offered will include:
* Financial management
* Career services
* Life coaching
* Individually-tailored programs for disabled vets
* Housing assistance
* Referrals for addiction and relationship counseling
* Advocate for the soldier with TriCare and the VA

Soldiers and their families will also have access to a fully-equipped functional training facility, which will work in conjunction with the Military Athlete program. These programs will be designed for all fitness levels, and the facility will staff physical therapists and personal trainers educated in working with the disabled.
