Hi Family and friends,
Many of you have been praying for Anessa, David and their baby, Eden Grace Stai. It’s hard to believe only 6 weeks ago she entered our world. She is a miracle in so many ways. Anessa and David are overjoyed to be new parents. Their precious daughter, Eden Grace was born on February 4th. Shortly after birth, Eden began to experience difficulties. Ultimately, she was transported to the U of M for critical care. After several tests, a blood clot was discovered blocking the left kidney and affecting the left side of her heart. Her left heart functioning dropped to 20% followed by her lungs laboring, she eventually had to be intubated. She was given blood thinners and lots of amazing care by the U of M staff. We waited, watched and prayed. Although the clot is still present, it has shrunk considerably reducing blockage and allowing blood flow. Her heart and lungs are fully functioning! Thank God. She is a fighter!
After 5 weeks of life in the hospital, Eden Grace was finally stable enough to go home! Please continue to pray for David and Anessa and Baby Eden as they embark upon this journey trusting God.
