7/11 Clerk Attacked; Help Syed Ali Father of 4

Our brother works at a 7- eleven on the corner of Western and Sepulveda in Torrance, CA. On Saturday morning 01/11/2020 between 1:00 am and 1:30am, there was a robbery in his store where a man and women stole and ran out with some items. He followed them outside to take a picture of them and their vehicle, as per the instructions of the store owner. He was then attacked, hit over the head repeatedly and then had his face beaten as well. He was left on the side of the road. While there, a passerby stopped his car and helped turn him over. He was able to cough up some blood before finally taking a breath. A customer in the store that was present during this incident was the one who called the police and ambulance. The incident was lodged with the Torrance police department within the hour. His family was notified by the hospital staff of his whereabouts and critical condition. He underwent intensive surgery where doctors operated on his skull to remove the bone and give his brain room to swell. They stopped the internal and external bleeding as well as they could and sent him to the ICU you recover. He has severe brain damage due to internal bleeding in the brain and is currently in a coma. He may never wake up or have use of his body again. He may never wake up to see his family again either.

He is a father to four young children that moved here from Pakistan 2 years ago seeking a better life for his family. He is the sole provider of the household and with him unable to work they are going through a very difficult time. This fundraiser is created to help their family pay for any medical bills that they may have as well support their everyday expenses.
