Help Molasses Fund A Space.

Update — For those who are finding this fundraiser for the first time, hello and thank you. Molasses secured housing for Black trans folks as intended with previous $$ from fundraised from September 2019 - December 2019. For 3 months we welcomed and hosted hundreds of trans and queer people of color at our home North STAR + we also housed several Black folks at the time as we envisioned. Unfortunately, our landlord, Beth Bishop Wagner, was a predatory landlord who took full advantage of our commitment. Once we called out her racist ways, she retaliated and made the home unsafe for Black trans folks in their own home and violated our housing rights. We mutually decided to terminate the (“probationary”) lease. Our landlord took out thousands out of the security deposit owed to us - any funds donated at or after the time of this posting will be donated to recovering lost security deposit funds
