Support Nathan Godin #TheGoodKidCoop
Donation protected
On Saturday March 16th Nathan was enjoying an evening of skiing with some friends at Blue Mountain which came to an abrupt ending. He was involved in a ski accident that left him with a broken femur and a serious brain injury.
Nathan was airlifted to Sunnybrook where he remains in a coma while his body heals. Although Nathan has gone through a successful femur surgery and has received a positive prognosis from his neurosurgeon, there is a long road to recovery ahead.
Nate (aka. Coop, Goddie or Nater) is known by many in our community to be that kid dangling past you on the ice and putting one in the back of the net. Always skating back past you with that infectious smile and banter confirming his greatness, “Ohhh buddy did you see that”. An all around athlete with anything you strap to his feet or put in his hands.
As the doctors have been telling the family, the road to recovery will be a marathon, not a sprint, and Nathan will need all the support he can get. The primary focus of these raised funds will go towards offsetting any costs related to Nathan’s rehabilitation process and required support. Anything you are able to donate at this time to help the family with these unforeseen costs is greatly appreciated.
We all eagerly await the return of the infectious smile and banter we all love Nathan for.
