720 Minutes for Life
On Saturday April 25th from 7am-7pm, 4 friends (Amanda Doran, Aoife Loughran, Karla Doran and Mary Hughes) from Louth will cycle indoors for 720 minutes(3hrs each) to raise funds for two extremely worthy local charities that have affected us personally. Lives change in a minute and we have 720 minutes to make a difference. Any contribution big or small would be greatly appreciated for SOSAD Dundalk and Our Lady of Lourdes ICU.
My family have been heartbroken by suicide in the last few months and know the devastation it causes. SOSAD, run by volunteers offer a listening ear to those who are affected by mental health issues. They rely on fundraising to continue with their services.
During COVID 19, SOSAD continues to offer 24/7 support via their phone lines 0429327311

The ICU unit plays an important role in ensuring that loved ones are being cared for on a personal and professional level, going above and beyond to support their patients and families of loved ones. They have been phenomenal on a personal level to many of us who are cycling to raise much deserved funds. Presently, Our Lady of Lourdes hospital and our frontline workers are working tirelessly to ensure that everyone who has being admitted are receiving the best possible care. Much needed funds raised will help to purchase PPE and other essential necessities for the unit.
Time’s are hard for everyone at the moment and people are stretched physically, mentally, emotionally and financially. Any donation would be amazing and very much appreciated.
Thank you,
Amanda, Aoife, Karla and Mary
