IMT's 72 Hour Virtual Plays for Freedom Inc.

InterMission Theatre is raising money to benefit Freedom, Inc. during The 72 Hour Virtual Plays!
ABOUT FREEDOM INC.
Freedom Inc is a Black and Southeast Asian non-profit organization that works with low- to no-income communities of color in the Madison area. Their mission is to achieve social justice through coupling direct services with leadership development and community organizing that will bring about social, political, cultural and economic change resulting in the end of violence in our community. They've been at the forefront for the fight for racial justice, the end of police brutality, education reform and more. Some services they help their community with include finding housing assistance, navigating the legal justice system, school advocacy, immigration and citizenship attainment, sexual assault advocacy and more. Freedom Inc. brings about change following the belief that those who are most affected by these issues must have voice, power, resources and choice in order for true social change to happen.
HOW DONATIONS WORK
To encourage donations during the stream, viewers can use their donation to "vote" for their favorite show.
There are 5 teams who each are working this entire weekend to produce an original play. To vote for your favorite team, simply put the name of your team in the comment of your donation, if you choose to participate. The winner will be announced when we meet our donation goal.
You do not have to participate in voting for teams in order to donate to Freedom, Inc. The GoFundMe will be open for donations before the streaming of the 72 Hour Plays and afterwards until we meet our goal. All money will go directly towards Freedom, Inc.
