In Memory of Jennifer Davidson

We are heartbroken at the tragic loss of Jennifer Davidson — A beloved friend and member of our research community. Jennifer passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 12th in Tacoma, Washington where she lived with her loving spouse, Joh Oso, their sweet dog, Dezi, and their two cats, Mister Buttercup & Andre the Giant.

Jennifer created community in every space she entered. She was a joyful force of nature, curious about the world, and always seeking to change things for the better.

Jennifer wanted to be one with nature. To honor her, her body will be decomposed into soil through https://recompose.life/. Some of the soil she creates will be turned into a tree in Jennifer & Joh's yard and the rest will be spread out at Bell's Mountain nature reserve. We are creating this fund to help support her family with expenses relating to her celebration of life and to support her spouse, Joh who is now without medical insurance and has exorbitant ongoing medical costs due to a disability.

We are in direct contact with Joh and are establishing this fund on his behalf. All funds will go directly to him.
