Help Debbie Beat Cancer
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Jenny. As many of you know my mom Debbie was diagnosed with B-cell Lymphoma which is an aggressive form of cancer that attacks the lymph nodes throughout your body. Despite the devastating news she quickly made up her mind that she was not going to let cancer beat her; she was going to fight this with all that she has. Within a few weeks from her diagnosis in May she had a PET scan done to see how much the cancer had spread, had her port put in and started treatments.
Immediately after opening up and sharing her story, mom found out that she was not going to fight this alone. She has been showered with prayers, phone calls, cards and gifts from so many people. She is so grateful for all of the love and support that she has been getting. This has truly helped her keep her spirts up.
Her doctor has her on an aggressive treatment plan which includes taking Chemo pills two times a day and getting Chemo treatments every three weeks, some of which are overnight stays in the hospital. This treatment has an 80% success rate so her doctor is optimistic that she will go into remission after her Chemo treatments are finished.
I have set this page up because even though her journey has just begun the medical bills are already pouring in. Even with her insurance the cost of the doctor visits, treatments, hospital stays, prescriptions and the PET scans that she will need is quickly becoming overwhelming. My dad continues to work full time but is also feeling the pressure of the extra expenses. So many of you have been following her journey and have been asking what you can do to help. All of the donations collected will go towards her medical bills. Our main goal is to try to take some of the financial burden off of my mom so that she can concentrate on fighting this terrible disease and winning the battle. If you are not able to make a donation, sharing this page and continuing to keep my mom in your thoughts and prayers is also greatly appreciated. Thank you for all of the love and support!
