Hello! I am reaching out for help… my very dear friends are being faced with a horrible situation no family should have to go through.. i will attach their story below.. if you can help we would be forever grateful. If not that’s ok to. We could use as many prayers as possible

I have been back and forth on this post for weeks. The amount of emotions that come with this post are countless. Embarrassed. Ashamed. Scared. Sad. Lost. Hopeless....and yet, still Determined.

To start, my husband has been the sole provider for our family for the last (almost) 2 years. He became the sole provider so that I could return to school and earn my degree in Child Therapy. I am currently in my last semester, have maintained a 4.0 GPA and have become apart of 2 honors societies. I am set to graduate early even! This past Jan. we received life altering news that my husband has Metastatic Neuroendocrine, small cell carcinoma..a very aggressive, often treatment resistant, fast spreading cancer. He has been in treatment since Feb and was set to return to work this week. However, today we got even more bad news. Not only has the cancer spread, all of his tumors have grown. The chemo is not working. Next week he starts an even more aggressive chemo therapy.

With his Dr appts, classes and 4 kids at home... Its running me down. I have reached out to the Trustee. Many cancer societies and exhausted all of our savings keeping the house running for the last 6 months. Aside from food, which we have no problems getting, I am asking if anyone knows of any other help centers or anything that could help us.

I am working, as much as I can with his appts and my classes. And he will begin receiving disability, but it's not much and it doesn't start until Sept. He is being stubborn and refuses to let me quit school with just a single semester left. Wants me to get my career going so that I can care for our kids better, when he is gone.

Any help and/or guidance...(even just prayers!!) are appreciated greatly!
