Jackson’s Surgery Bills
Donation protected
Our 8-year-old beloved family dog, Jackson, began having problems with his back right foot in December of 2020. We have had Jack since he was a puppy and he has grown up with my sister and I. Since December, we have taken him to multiple visits to his family vet and have not been successful in his treatment. Over the holidays, the blood blister on his foot burst, which resulted in our family taking him to have an ER visit at Quakertown Animal Hospital. They have tried every non-surgical method possible to treat him. He has gone through three rounds of antibiotics and Prenozone (a steroid) and time after time, a blood blister comes back with an open sore that requires more antibiotics. When we try to decrease the amount of steroids and antibiotics, the blood blister ends up bursting on his foot and the cycle begins again. We can see this causes him a lot of pain due to him trying to constantly lick and bite his foot and he won't let anyone get near it. Quakertown Animal Hospital and our family have now turned to a surgical option because Jackson cannot continue on any more medication. They believe there may be a foreign body inside his foot that is not visible to the eye. The money raised from GoFundMe will be used for pre-op, post-op, and surgical costs in the upcoming weeks. We have been struggling financially and thought this might be able to help our dog get the surgery that he needs. Any donation is appreciated greatly, thank you!!!
