Bear, a senior dog, was picked up from the streets and brought to ACC as a heartbreaking case of animal cruelty. His fur was severely matted, and his skin is riddled with painful infections. Despite his suffering, Bear still has so much life left to live—but he needs our help to get his second chance. He is suspected to have mange, Cushing’s disease, a urinary infection, kennel cough, and possibly other conditions. He cries nonstop, and the reason is unclear. He requires multiple diagnostic tests, including X-rays and an ultrasound, and that’s just the beginning.
