Help Margarita beat Cancer a second time

  • Hi, My name is Margarita Motygina. I was born in Moscow Russia in June 1989. (I am 33 years old) My family & I moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana when I was 4 years old. I remained a Baton Rouge Resident my entire life. As a child I had a lot of stomach pain & discomfort. Due to my continuous discomfort, the doctor’s decided to do a CT scan in order to gain more insight as to what the cause of my pain could be. All tests & bloodwork seemed fine. After the CT scan, at about age 17, I was told that there was a lesion in my lung.(super scary at this age) Then I was told there is a tumor in my sacral area which needed to be removed immediately.(even scarier!) Following more visits, I was told to not worry about the lesion in my lung but now at age 18, the tumor in my sacral area has been surgically removed, also removing my tailbone. After the findings were sent off to a university for testing, results came back that the tumor was Carcinoid Cancer. The surgery was hard to recover from, I could not sit up, drive, or maneuver very well for at least a month and a half. The pain from this surgery never seemed to go away. I got better, & I continued to work & persuade my dreams. I worked as a Certified Pharmacy Technician at the Rite Aid in Gonzales, Louisiana for 8 years. I loved working there. In December 2016, i graduated from Southern University and A&M College with my Bachelor’s Degree in Business. I was able to get a job working for Louisiana Medicaid but I was a Contracted Worker with the University of New Orleans. It was while at this job that I began to experience sickness again. First, the nausea came back. I would have to throw up at work sometimes. This is really uncomfortable and embarrassing. I began to take off from work due to being ill. I began going to the doctor’s office. Every time I went to the doctor, they ran a lot of blood work , then they would always tell me that I’m healthy & send me off. I felt defeated. My back pain was increasing. My stomach pain & discomfort was getting worse. The doctors did not seem to listen to me. I was unable to perform simple tasks at work & I felt like the best thing to do was to quit my job. I began to feel incredibly worse & could not perform my duties. I kept going to the doctors. Every kind of doctor. One doctor would send me to another. A specialist for this & one for that. They would all dismiss me. Some days would be great & I felt good. Most days I’m in a tremendous amount of pain and I’m terribly nauseous. On the worst days my nauseas defeats me & I am unable to hold down water. I literally cannot swallow anything without spitting it up. I am now 33 years old. After a tumultuous weekend of going back & forth to the Emergency Room… (they treat my symptoms & discharge me, I end up right back & so on) they performed some scans & finally saw that I have some growths which were questionable, & after a few tests, confirmed that I have CANCER, again. It is in my LOWER BACK (sacral area), a few lesions in my LIVER , & lesion in my LUNG. I have not worked for 2 years. I am unable to work at this time as I am in so much pain & discomfort. I’m nauseas, sick to my stomach without a variety of medicine. The hematologist (cancer specialist) says that I will have to do chemotherapy by taking pills. I believe it is two tablets I would have to take. They want to run a couple more before they begin giving me chemo. (I will keep you updated) I have run out of savings. My mother & my father (who are divorced) have been helping me by paying my rent & my bills. They each have their own monthly bills to pay for. My father is in his late 60’s & is retired & my mother is her late 50’s & works as a nurse.  I am asking for assistance so that I may maintain my own home as I am going through this healing process. Your donations allows me financial support & grants me a piece of independence. All praises due to the Most High.
