MND Fundraiser
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,
I am writing to share some difficult news about our beloved friend and family member, Michael Young. At just 33 years old, Michael has been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND), a progressive condition that affects the nerves in the brain and spinal cord. This diagnosis has been life-changing, not only for Michael but also for his family, including his two-year-old daughter, who means the world to him.
As the disease progresses, Michael will face increasing challenges with mobility, which will require significant adaptations to his home. To ensure he can continue living comfortably and independently with his family, we are working to raise funds to convert the downstairs of his home to be fully accessible.
A group of friends and family have already begun a fundraising effort, but we are reaching out to the wider community for support. We are asking for donations, large or small, to help make Michael’s home a safe and accessible space for him and his loved ones.
Any support, no matter the size, would be deeply appreciated during this challenging time. Your generosity will not only help Michael but also ensure that his daughter can continue to grow up in a home that supports her father’s needs.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
Sincerely,
Organizer
