We need your help! Australian singer songwriter and seasoned live performer Karly Jewell has been offered a bunch of extremely high end opportunities in the next few months. A run of shows in Japan playing in front of key target audiences and industry peers is on the list. The other being a support slot with Australia’s most respected world touring band, ROSE TATTOO at the famed Whisky A Go-Go in West Hollywood. This venue is a favourite haunt with some of L.A’s and the worlds most influential and successful artists as well as industry experts and talent hunters. The emphasis on playing Whisky A Go-Go cannot be understated and we have already received a strong rumour that Slash and Axl Rose, (Guns N Roses) and Sebastian Bach (Skid Row) may be attending the show that Karly will be playing. To be in the company of such people and to be performing directly to them has the possibility of elevating Karly Jewell to be the next Australian performer to place her flag on top of the world music mountain. As if this isn’t enough of a chance to boost her career to the next level, Karly also has the opportunity to work with an extremely well known and successful producer soon on the preparation, recording and release of her next single. This is just a brief outline on what Karly has coming up in the next few months, and here is where you come in.
Being a professional musician comes with massive costs and very little (if any) direct sustaining income unless you are with a major label on the world stage. When we say “professional musician” remember that people such as Karly who live for music and the dream of being in front of people the world over, also hold down daytime jobs, and have all the regular costs that we all have negotiating our day to day lives yet still hold on to the dream of being what so many others never have the opportunity to realise.
Now, the biggest expense for Karly to capitalise on this massive opportunity and make her chance a reality is Travel. It’s a killer. And not just the travel for herself, but also the band as she can not make her dreams a reality without them.
So, we are asking for any financial assistance possible to help Karly and her band make these opportunities a reality. The shows are booked, we just have to get her there now. As a way of thanks for your contribution, Karly will be offering exclusive merchandise packages and complimentary entry into Australian shows in 2023 in Australia as a way of saying thanks.
