Loved husband to Cynthia and father to Lucas, Vincent and Angelina. Mike overcame hardship by traveling from Guatemala to the United States when he was younger. He achieved the American Dream. He worked hard to provide for his family. Unfortunately, Mike was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis in May of 2013. After years of tests and medication, he was finally listed for a transplant in November of 2018. He received his double lung transplant in March of 2019. Unfortunately after 7 months, he started experiencing acute rejection. Progressing over the years to chronic rejection and other illnesses. December 18th, 2022 was the last time Mike was at home. Unfortunately, he couldn’t overcome these multiple issues and succumbed to his illness on January 25th, 2023. Any donations will help to support his family.
