Sequim Parents for Safe Schools
Donation protected
Our goal is to actively pursue a multi-layer approach to facilitate communication, community, fair confidence, and measurable results to ensure Sequim has safe and secure schools. We’re here in an effort to support our schools.
Our group has short- and long-term goals for security. We would like to implement immediate fixes and improvements, such as emergency safety buckets be put in every classroom, locks be installed on the classroom doors, additional fencing, security cameras, as well as getting current safety protocol up to speed, and training for all teachers and students in threat awareness.
To achieve such an approach, we've partnered with a team of highly respected security and safety experts, including collaborating with security resources, such as Security Services Northwest, Inc., former military, and former and current law enforcement.
Together, we have the capacity to drive positive change for our youth. A classroom should be more than just a place to learn, it should be a safe place to heal and a healthy place to grow. We hope to make schools a place where students feel secure in the knowledge that their school and community leaders go above and beyond what is expected of them to ensure student safety.
Please help us make these immediate safety improvements for our schools, by donating what you can. Thank you for support!
